In the era of the 21st century, where mental health issues are taking a toll on us, here are some habits that one could practise to make their day-to-day lives better.
Firstly, one could start by doing the basics, i.e., sleeping for 6 to 7 hours. Quality sleep is really important for the better functioning of the brain as it’s in this REM stage of sleep that the rest of your quality relaxation takes place.
These days, cheese and mayo have been the talk of the town, and things have been pretty much covered with extra cholesterol that goes unnoticed due to its taste. Therefore, one must be mindful about their portion size and the consumption of saturated and unsaturated fats.
The hustle culture has made us so engrossed in leveling ourselves up that we tend to skip meals and hogger on snacks, which immediately needs to stop, and eating 3 meals a day should be a must.
Because social media has become such an important part of our lives, it is critical that we limit our use of social media apps that cause self-esteem issues and make us feel less worthy.Hence, the screen time has to be reduced and one has to be careful regarding the content they see on the apps.
Lastly, meditation and relaxation techniques need to be practiced to channelize your thoughts and have great concentration power.
